Scooters India Ltd. వార్షిక వృద్ధి వివరాలు ఆధారంగా కంపెనీ చరిత్ర

Incorporated in 1972, Scooters India Limited is an ISO 9001:2000 Company, situated at 16 Km
mile stone, South-west of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh on NH No 25 and is well
connected by road, rail and air.

-SIL is engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing a broad spectrum
of conventional and non-conventional fuel driven 3-wheelers.

-The company is a manufacturing unit mainly dealing with two and three wheelers, fans and spares and SKDs.

-During the year 1993-94 the company had engaged A.R.Ferguson and Company as an outside consultant to prepare a rehabilititation proposal for the company. Atleast Rs. 40 crores will have to be inducted to pull the company out of the red, for reviving the company the promoters will have to make large investments for launching new products.

-The company has also bagged an order for export of about 600 scooters to Mexico. The company will also go in for a diesel engine for its three wheelers scooters.

2007

-Scooters India Ltd has informed that Shri. P Muthusamy, Director (Finance), has taken over the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. April 13, 2007 vice Shri. P R Datta whose term expired on Apri1 12, 2007.

-Scooters India Ltd has appointed Shri. Shashank Goel as part-time Official Director on the Board of the Company.

2008

-Shri.Ajai Kumar has joined as Chairman cum-Managing Director on the Board of the Company.

2009

-The Company appointed Shri. P. P. Sarka , Shri. Vikrarm Gulati and Shri. S. K. Tripathi as Directors.

2010

-The Company appointed Shri Ajai Kumar and Shri P. Muthusamy as Directors.
