Prima Plastics Limited was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on the 17th November 1993 and obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on the 22nd June 1994.

The Company proposes to set up a factory at Daman (Union Territory) for the manufacture of Plastic Moulded Furnitures and Consumer Durables like plastic chairs, dining tables, brief cases, overnighters and storage bins, with a total installed capacity of 3,024 M.T. per annum.

2002-Prima Plastics Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr Bhaskar M Parekh as a Chairman and Mr Dilip M Parekh as the Managing Director subject to the approval of the shareholders at its forthcoming AGM.


2005

- Te commercial production of M/s Prima Deelite Plastics Pvt Ltd, Cameroon, Western Africa, a Joint Venture Company, wherein the Company is holding 50% of equity shares, has started its commercial production.


2006

- The commercial production of the Company's New Diversified Project of manufacturing Aluminium Panel Sheets and Aluminium Composite Panel at Daman has started.


2010

- The Company had received approval letter from Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority for incorporation and setting up 100% subsidiary company in the Name of PRIMA GLOBAL FZE with an object to do trading activities in home furniture and building materials in UAE and holding company for all Company's investments in International business.

2011

-Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 1/- per equity share (10%).

2012

--Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 1/- per equity share (10%).

2013

--Board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 1/- per equity share (10%).
