Hitkari Industries Ltd., was incorporated on 29th June' 1994 for setting up a project for the manufacture of five layer coextruded multilayer packaging films.
During the period since incorporation, the Company is involved in implementing its project to manufacture five layer co-extruded multilayer packaging films with an installed capacity of 660 tpa at Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. The company had approached IFCI in July'94 and a term loan of Rs 277 lacs was sanctioned in the month of September'94. The company has placed orders for imported Plant & Machinery between September & November'94. In December 94, the Company acquired the leasehold rights of the land from Himachal Ceramics Industries Pvt. Ltd. (HCIPL) and the civil work has already commenced. After extensive screening, the company has also recruited the key management personnel in the month of November1994. The detailed schedule of implementation is elaborated elsewhere in the prospectus.
