YEAR EVENTS
1987 - The Company was originally incorporated as private limited
company on 21st July. It was converted into a public limited
company on 1st May, 1992. It was promoted by D. Bir.

- The Company acquired an shipbuilding activities located in the
Gulf of Cambay, 18 miles from Bhavnagar city.

1994 - 22,54,140 No. of equity shares allotted to promoters, directors,
etc. 7,51,500 No. of equity shares offered for sale to the public
at a premium of Rs 30 per share (all were taken up).

1995 - During December 1995 - January 1996, the Company offered
90,16,920 Rights equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a prem.
of Rs 26 per share in propn. 3:2.

- 30,05,640 Bonus shares issued in prop. 1:1.

- The Company proposes to expand its present ship repair capacity,
which is limited to ships upto 4000 DWT, by setting tip a modern
ship repair facility comprising of a ship lift system, to cater
to the size of ships upto 10000 DWT alongwith special ship repair
equipments, services and allied facilities for comprehensive dry
docking and repair or ships.

- The ship lift system would be introduced for the first time in
India by the Company, because of cost effectiveness and site
friendliness of such system over the prevailing systems.

1996 - The Board had allotted 3005640 Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1 for
1 on 1st December, 1995.
