S.S. Leasing & Finance Limited, was incorporated on 28th December, 1983 as a Private Limited Company under the Companies act, 1956. Subsequently it has been converted into Public Limited Company on 12th September 1985. S.S.Leasing & Finance Limited is primarily engaged in the business of providing lease finance with an additional exposure in Hire Purchase activities. The company also provides short term finances to various corporate and non-corporate clients. Keeping in view the vast potential in the leasing/hire purchases and allied financial services, the company intends to enhance its activities in these fields. The company is already engaged in these activities and have adequate infrastructure only needs to be broad based.

The assets financed are plant and Machinery automobiles, data processing, office eqipment etc. The company also provides short term finance to various corporate and non-corporate clients.

The Company has been promtoed by Mr. R.L.Jain, Post Graduate in Economics. He is the Managing Director of this company. He has over 25 years experience in leasing, hire purchase, finance, banking and industry. He is overall supervising the entire operations of the company.

Mr. R.L. Jain started his business career in the year 1968-69 as dealer in Petrolem Products. In the year 1982-83 he started business of Leasing, hire purchase, Finance etc.

Company does not have any subisidiary as on date.

2007

-Secured status of Research Establishment vide No. 1117/C/07/CPCSEA from the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India for its preclinical research facility


2008

-Secured status of Research Establishment vide No. TU/1VRD/2740/2007 from The Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for its custom research facility

-Vivo Bio Tech Ltd has appointed Dr. Venugopal as Additional Director.

2009

-Received SEZ gazette notification from Government of India, for the company’s land (10.93 hectares) at Pregnapur for developing biotech specific Special Economic Zone vide No. F.1/139/2007

-Vivo Bio Tech Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company has appointed Mr. K Jagan Mohan Rao as Additional Director.

2010

-Commenced operations of 125,000 Sq.ft preclinical research facility – Small Animals (Rats, Mice, Rabbits, Hamsters and Guinea Pigs)

2011

-Vivo Bio Tech preclinical research facility received ‘Full Accreditation’ by AAALAC International.
