YEAR EVENTS 1992 - The Company was incorporated on the 26th November, as a private limited company and was converted to Public Limited Company on 30th July, 1993. It was promoted by Raj Kumar Jaiswal, Binod Kumar Vaish, Pramod Kumar Vaish, Nirmal Bothra & Dr. Ashok Agrawal. The main object of the company is to manufacture portland cement.
- The Company is setting up plant to manufacture Portland Slag Cement based on Vertical Shalft Kiln (VSK) technology, with a capacity of 250 TPD.
1994 - 2,27,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each issued, subscribed and paid up. 87,23,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each were then issued in February 1995 as follows:
- (i) 24,73,000 No. of equity shares to promoters, directors, etc.
- (ii) On Preferential basis: (a) 15,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each to NRIs on repatriation basis only (3,56,700 shares taken up). (b) 12,50,000 shares to Indian Mutual Funds (None were taken up). Balance 35,00,000 shares along with unsubscribed portion of 23,93,300 shares from preferential quota issued to public.
