National Engineering company limited is a company incorporated in 1955, dealing in Finished Steel Products and M.S.Ingots and has its registered office at Madras.

During the year 1995-96, Tulsyan Synthetics Limited has been merged with the Company. So the name of the company has been changed from National Engineering Company Limited to Tulsyan NEC Limited with effect from 21st August 1996.

The Company is the largest manufacturer of HDPE Woven Sacks in South India and is among the top 5 in the country.

2002-Tulsyan Nec Ltd has informed BSE that Mr Vikram Saboo one of the Director has resigned from the Board.

2008

- Tulsyan NEC Ltd has appointed Mr. C Ramachandran, IAS as an Additional Director with effect from December 12, 2007.
