The Company was incorporated as a public limited company by Mr. J P Sureka and his associates on 14th July, 1993 and obtained its certificate of commencement of business on 5th August, 1993, from Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.

The Company was promoted for setting up a project for the manufacture of sodium dichromate, basic chrome sulphate, sodium sulphate anhydrous and chrome oxide green and other chrome based chemicals. The project was set up at Bamunari, Dankuni, Dist. Hooghly, West Bengal. This project introduced Rotary Batch Oil fired technology. This plant was commissioned in a period of just 12 months.

MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY

The main objects of the company as per Memorandum & Articles of Association are as under :-

1. To carry on the business of Manufacturer, Producer, Processor, Convertor, Corroborator, Refiner, Smeltor, Re-users, Laboratory Owner, Mining Operator, Packers, Stockist, Trader, Dealer, Investor, Financier, Importer, Exporter, Agent or Otherwise deal in all kinds of chemicals
and their preparations including Dichromate or Biohromate by whatever name may be called whether made of Sodium, Ammonium, Potassium or Other Chemical preparations whether mixed or compounds and to deal in their products, allied products, by-products raw materIals, Inter- mediaries,residue and to use, reuse, utilise, manufacture and convert its products, by-products and residues in to cement, or other products which can be made out of the same and to carry on the business of all other sorts of chemicals in their all forms and shapes whether basic, organic,inorganic, heavy, light, industrial, marine or otherwise including Basic Chrome Sulphate, Chrome Sulphate, Sodium Sulphate, Yellow Sulphate, Chromic Acid, Chrome Pigments, Chrome Oxide, Chromoum Metal, Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Sulphide, Soda Ash, Caustic Soda, Sodium Bi-carbonate, Chlorine, Sulphuric Acid, Carbon-di- sulphide, calcium carbonate, Calcium Sulphate, Magnesium Carbonate, glaubers Salt, Barium Chromate, Calcium Chromate, Chlorides, Oxides, Acids, all kinds of Metalic & Metals Chromates, Suiphates, Sulphides and Metalic Oxides, Components, Titanium Oxides, Metalic Cynides, Sodium Stannate, Cobalt, Pigments, Dyes and all other Chemicals, Chemical Preparations and Articles by whatever name may be called including their products, by- products, residues, raw materials and intermediaries whatsoever and to manufacture, process and deal in all or any other articles substances, conveniences, provisions and things similar or analogous to the forgoing or incidental or connected therewith.

Oils, Polyvenyl & Other Poly Products & Compounds, Plastics, Plasticizers, Fertilisers & mannuers, Fungicides & Pesticides, Organic & Mineral intermediates, Composition, Laboratory, Reagents and all sorts of chemical preparations or otherwise their mixtures, substances & formulations and all allied items in their all forms and shapes whether
mixed or compounds including their products, by-products and residues, and to use, utilise and convert their products, by-products and residues in such products as may be made out of the same and to deal in all substances, conveniences, provisions, articles, and things connected
with or incidental to the above business.

3. To carry on the business of Manufacturer, Processor, Fabricator, Engineer, Foundry men, Workshop owner, Melter, Smelter, Casting, Moulding, Converter, Repairer, Metallurgist, Mining Owner, Importer, Exporter, Agent or otherwise deal in all types of metals and Mineral in their all forms and shapes eg. Iron & Steel, Special Alloy, Tar- sponge Iron & Steel, Tong-Steel, and all other form of Iron & Steel, Brass, Zinc, Lead, Copper, Bauxite, Tin, Aluminium, Manganese, Mica or any other type of Metals & Mineral by whatever name may be called whether mixed. Compounds or otherwise alongwith their Rawform, Products, Semi Products, By-products Scraps, Residue or otherwise of all description and nature, to do moulding, conversion of all kinds, specification and descriptions, foundry work of all kind and nature, rolling and re-rolling mill power, enameller, plaster, galvaniser. convertor, proprietor or turnaces, whether electric furnace, are furnace, blast furnace, gas furnace, oil fired furnace or otherwise operated by any other process and to carry on furnace work of all kind and nature, to carry on forgoing work and to act as engineers, manufacturer, assemble, processor, repairer and dealer in all types of machineries, plant, apparatus, accessories. components, equipments, appliances, tools, parts, spares, hardwares, mechanical articles of all nature and all type of engineering work of any specification, description and nature and to deal in all substances, conveniences, provisions and things connected with or incidental to the above business.

4. To carry on the business of Manufacturer, Producer, Processor, Assembler, Convertor, Merchant, Agent, Broker, Contractors, Distributor, Importer, Exporter, Hire Purchase Dealer, Trader or otherwise deal in all types of Fibres-Fabrics and Textiles whether natural, Artificial,
Synthetics or otherwise and all products thereof, Paper & Board, Electrical and Electronic Goods and Components, Farm and Forest Production including goods manufactured there from, fuels, cement, construction materials, sugar & molosses, glass, ceremic & sanitary wares, leather, rubber & rubber goods, lubricant edible and non-edible oils & fats, vegetable oils including ghee, pipe & pipe fittings, automobiles & vehicles and their components, handicrafts, novelties & stationery, cosmetics, consumer goods, house hold goods, dairy and poultry, generating sets, beverages including tea, coffee, alcoholic & soft drinks, bullion, precious stone, plant & machinaries, tools, equipments, accessories, spares, stores and all sorts of merchandise
and things.

5. To act as a service organisation & bureau and to carry on and act as Consultant, Adviser, Supervisor, Service Manager, Agent and to undertake Commercial, Industrial, Finandal, Liason, Legal, Secretarial Advisory, Communical and allied Services and to carry on and engage in the business of providing consultation, Technical Services and know how of all nature including Project Planning, Preparation of Project Reports, Designs, construction, Erection and Engineering of Plant & Machinery, Component & Equipments, Production Analysis, Formulation, Process & System Technologies, Effluent Treatment, Handling & Packing, Air & Water Conditioning, Air Pollution Treatment & System to take jobs & contnacts on turnkey basis or otherwise for setting up plants and any kind of service involving technical expertise and to carry on and render all sorts of services and to act as service Agent.

RESENT BUSINESS

The Company has set up a plant for manufacture of sodium dichromate, basic chrome sulphate, sodium sulphate anhydrous, chromo oxide green and other chrome based chemicals. The products have already been test marketed and well accepted in the market. The Company is now setting up a project for manufacture of 180 M.T. of Chromium Metal at Bamunary, Dankuni, Dist. Hooghly, West Bengal. (Unit II)
