Sharda Ispat Ltd. వార్షిక వృద్ధి వివరాలు ఆధారంగా కంపెనీ చరిత్ర

The company was incorporated in the year 1960 by the Sarda Group. The original promoters of Sarda Group included three brothers namely, Late Shri Mohanlal Sarda, Late Shri Ramniwas Sarda and Shri Ramkishore Sarda. The present promoters Shri J.K.Sarda and Shri G.D.Sarda.

Sharda Ispat Limited is an existing profit making and dividend paying company with 33 years standing. The company was incorporated as a private limited company on 22nd September, 1960, under the name of "Sharda Industries & Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd." The name of the company was changed to "SHARDA ISPAT LIMITED" to project the activities of the company, and fresh certificates of incorporation consequent on change of name was issued on 9th October, 1989. The First unit for Re-rolling was set-up at Kamptee Road, Nagpur. It is the first re-rolling unit of the entire Vidharbha/Central India. It has started the production at Kamptee Road Unit with installed capacity of only 800 MT per annum. It has record of steady growth to its credit. It became Public Limited Company on 12th March, 1985.

The installed capacity of Kamptee Road Unit has raised from 25,000 M.T. to 60,000 M.T. per annum during the year 1995-96.
