The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 6th May, 1992 in the State of Maharashtra with the purpose of establishing a Solvent Extraction Plant and a Vegetable
Oil Refinery. The Company received Certificate of Commencement of business on 25th September, 1992.

The Company proposes to set up a Solvent Extraction Plant with an installed capacity of 225 tpd and a Vegetable Oil Refinery with an installed capacity of 25 tpd at Wanjri (Wani) near Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra.

2007

- Rasoya Proteins Ltd has recommended a final dividend @ 12.5% i.e. Rs 1.25 per Equity Share.

2008

-Rasoya Proteins Ltd Recommended Dividend @ 12.5% on the Equity shares for the financial Year ended March 31, 2008.

2009

-Rasoya Proteins Ltd has recommended a final dividend @ 10.00% i.e. Rs 1.00 per share.

2010

- Company has started producing Power at full capacity from the Power Generation Unit Located at Taluka Wani, in Yeotmal District of Maharashtra State.

- Company has formed a subsidiary company under the name "RPL International Trade FZE" in Sharjah with an object of Trading in Edible Oil and related Soya based Products.

2011

- Company has started commercial production from its Solvent Extraction Unit of 1000 tons per day located at Taluka Malkapur

-Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Rs 5

2013

-Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 5 to Re 1

-Rasoya Proteins has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 2:1
