Prashant India Ltd. వార్షిక వృద్ధి వివరాలు ఆధారంగా కంపెనీ చరిత్ర

The Company was incorporated on 23rd November, 1983 as a private Ltd Company and converted into a Public Limited Company on 16th September 1985.

The main objects of the Company is dealing in and processing all kinds of oil seeds, oil cakes, vegetable oil and oil bearing materials / substanses by solvent extraction process. Oil extracted and refined is marketed under the brand name "HOLLYWOOD".

The Company entered into an agreement of sale in March, 1984 with Ulhas Oil and Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd., for the purchase of a running solvent extraction Plant along with the land and factory building at a cost of Rs. 50.50 lakhs payable in instalments without interest. The Possession of the factory was taken on 19th March, 1984. The Company commenced operations at the existing plant in May 1984.

Besides the Agro Division the Company has Textiles Division & Export Division.
