The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 11th December, 1986, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company on 22nd January, 1993 under Section 31(1)/44 in terms of Special Resolution dated 10th December, 1992. The necessary certificate for change of name from Pioneer Farms Private Limited to Pioneer Farms Limited has been obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, vide their certificate dated 22nd January, 1993.
PRESENT BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY
The company initially established a Parent Farm and a hatchery unit in 1986-87 with 10,500 broiler parent birds and installed hatchery capacity of 3,25,000 day old chicks per month. The current production of the unit is between 3 to 4 lakhs. The unit was set up with a capital outlay of Rs 40.00 lakhs at Neermagomla village. The actual production of this unit commenced in 1988.
