The Company was incorporated as Oceanic Shelters Pvt Ltd on 28-10-2005, under the Companies Act, 1956 bearing Registration CIN U15549TN2005PLCO57919 having its Registered office at 15, Zackaria Colony, 4th street, Choolaimedu, Chennai-600094, Tamil Nadu. Subsequently, the Company became a Public Limited Company in puruance to a special resolution passed by the members of the Company at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on May 17, 2013. The Fresh Certificate of Incorporation conversion to a public limited company was issued on June,13, 2013 by the Registrar of Companies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Name of the company was changed to Oceanaa Biotek Industries Ltd pursuant to shareholders resolution dated May 17, 2013 and consequently a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on June 28, 2013 by the Registrar of Companies, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The Company was promoted by Mr.A Joseb Raj and Mrs. Vimalla Joseb who were the original subscriber to the Company's Memorandum and Articles of Association in the year 2005
