Company incorporated on 08/08/1951 under the name of Rattanhand Harjasraj (Plastic) Ltd it was carrying the business of Plastic buttons under the trade name of flower. In 1955 the Company had technical collaboration with British Industrial plastic Ltd. Birmingham, England. In 1956 the Company started manufacturing Plastic moulding Powder. In 1963 the Company set up Engineering division. In 1967 the Company was converted into a Public Limited Company with a new name Nuchem Plastic Ltd. In 1983 the Company started a chemical division under the name Nuchem Agro product Ltd. to produce medium density Fibre Board and allied products.

In the year 1991 the Company changed its name from Nuchem Plastic Ltd. to only Nuchem Ltd. The Company's present objective & Activities are manufacturing of Formuldehyde Urea, Formaldehyde moulding Powder, resins, tools, hydraulic presses and hack saw Blades. The Company tie up a Technical collabration with the sunds Defibratror AB of Sweeden.
