The company is promoted by Shri Radheshyam Maheshwari and Shri Mahesh Chokse.
The company was incorporated on 18th September, 1985 as Private Limited company in the name of Pithampur Steels Private Limited in the State of Madhya Pradesh under the Companies Act, 1956 and became a deemed Public Limited Company Under Section 43-A(1A) on 1-4-1990. Subsequently it was converted into a Public Limited Company by passing a Special Resolution by the shareholders in its Extra Ordinary General Meeting held on 18-2-1992 and obtained certificate of the changed status from Registrar of Companies, Gwalior in respect thereof.
After incorporation of the company the Board of Directors remained involved in work relating to preparing the Project Report, getting the Clearances, arranging of finance, procuring machineries and other implementation work. There after the project was put on stream and the company commenced production of MS light structurals on 16th March, 1987. During the first accounting year ended on 31.12.1987, the company achieved a turnover of Rs.311.64 lacs and incurred a net loss of Rs.17.96 lacs. The next accounting year was of 15 months, which ended on 31.3.1989.
