Morgan Industries Limited (MIL) incorporated on 26.12.1989 as a public limited Company obtained its certificate of commencement of business on 19.1.90. The Company has obtained SIA Registeration for manufacture of Self Adhesive tapes for 6000 TPA other than those reserved for small scale sector and for manufacture of Adhesives for 10000 TPA excluding industrial adhesive based on Starch, gum, dextrine, Silica, Synthetic adhesives based on Rubber, latex, PF, UF, PVA based. This Company is setting up a plant to manufacture 40.11 million square metres (3000 tonner per annum) self adhesive tapes based on BOPP, Kraft & PVC and 6000 TPA of adhesive for various applications at SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Village Cuddalore, South Arcot District, Tamil Nadu.

The Company has been promoters by Mr. Ashok Balasubramanian, Friends and relatives.

2002-Morgan Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on August 22, 2002 approved the preferential issue of 5000000 equity shares @ a face value of Rs 10 each aggregating to Rs 50 million at par to the promoters and associates subject to the approval of the shareholders in AGM and consent/approval from SEBI and other appropriate authorities if any.
