Jhunjhunwala VAnaspathi Limited a Public Company under the Companies Act 1956 was incorporated on Nov 17th 1989 with its reg office at varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.The Company obtained certificate for commencement of Business on January 19 th 1990.The Company was promoted by by Mr D.N.JhunJhunwala who is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company.
He has also promoted Companies like Jhunjhunwala oil mills and Jhunjhunwalla refineries and Jhoola refineries .He has also ben the President of the UP solvent extraction Association from 1985 to 1988
.The company is engaged in manufacturing of Vanaspathi at 25 Mt Per day.The producyts of the company are marketed under the brand name of Joola Vanaspathi which has been well accepted in the market.The present set up is the most modern integrated plant and the commencement of production has started iun March 1990.

2008

- Company name has been changed from Jhunjhunwala Vanaspathi Ltd to JVL Agro Industries Ltd.

2009

-JVL Agro Industries Ltd has recommended the dividend of Rs. 1/- per Equity Share

2010

--JVL Agro Industries Ltd has recommended the final dividend of Rs. 15/- per Equity Share

-Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Re 1

-Company has acquired 500 Acres of land in Bihar

2012

-JVL Agro Industries inaugurates refinery plant at Haldia

-JVL Agro Industries Ltd has recommended the dividend @ Rs. 0.20 per share (i.e. 20%) on the equity shares.
