YEAR EVENTS
1985 - JUPITER ORGA LIMITED was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 21st
February, and converted into a Public Limited Company vide Resolution passed on
10.3.92 with effect from 1.4.92 as evidenced by the Registrar of Companies certificate
dated 24.5.94.

- The Company is in the Bulk Drugs and Basic Chemicals industry and is currently
engaged in the manufacture of Trirnethoprim. Sulfacetamide Sodium and Acetyl PAS.

- The Company was initially promoted to take up a small scale project at Bidar, Karnataka,
for manufacturing bulk drugs and chemicals. The Company has been making cash profits
since inception. The Company has also taken up trading activities in Sodium PAS Ibuprofen.
Sulfamethoxazole, Paracetamol, Ranitidine and Ciprofloxacin.

- The Company will have two manufacturing units - one for the manufacture of
Trimethoprim and Sulfacetamide Sodium at Bidar (Karnataka), and the other for
the manufacture of Sodium Azide, 2-Methyl Resorcinol and 2,6-Dimethoxy Phenol
and Trimethoprim at Sangareddy (Andhra Pradesh).

1995 - The Company is setting up a 100% Export Oriented Unit at Cheriyal Village,
Sangareddy Mandal, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh for which purpose funds have
been raised by way of public issue which opened on 30th January, 1995 and was closed
on 2nd February.

- The Company has established a Research and Development wing for the purpose of
developing the speciality chemicals.

1996 - Dr. G.K. Valecha retires at this Annual General Meeting and being eligible for
re-appointment, offers himself to be re-elected as Director. Smt. V. Indira retires in the
ensuing Annual General Meeting.

1998 - Dr. G.K. Valecha retires by rotation in the ensuing Annual General
Meeting and is eligible for reappointment.

1999 - Mr. Gopal K.M. Tangirala retires by rotation in the ensuing Annual
General Meeting and is eligible for reappointment. Dr. G.K. Valecha
expired during the year and the Board wishes to place on record its
appreciation of the services rendered by him during his association
with the Company.

2000 - Jupiter Organics Ltd., the pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, has
floated a wholly-owned subsidiary called Sven Genetech Ltd. for setting up of
a separate and focused research and development facility aimed at creating
new molecules based on peptide chemistry.


2008

-Hyderabad: Jupiter Biosciences Ltd (JBL), has forayed into an alliance with GI Logics Inc to develop and market a diagnostic for H. Pylori bacteria, which is responsible for peptic ulcers.
