2003

-Government of India in the process of disinvesting its stake in the company.

-Centre approves Rs.300cr financial restructuring package to the company.

-Core group of secretaries on disinvestment clears the transaction documents for equity sell-off of the company.

-Appoints Shri Ashok Chawla as part time Government Director of the company.

2007

-Shri. R N Madangeri, has been appointed as Director (Technical) on the Company.

2008

-Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd has appointed Shri. Mathew C Kunnumkal as parttime Government Director on HOCL Board w.e.f. September 28, 2007 i.e. from the date of 46th AGM of the Company.

2009

-Shri M. K. Mittal has assumed the charge as Director (Finance) in HOCL.
