1992

-Gujarat Foils Ltd was incorporated for manufacturing of aluminum rolled products and promoted by Mr Promod Kumar Jain.

1994

-The company started commercial production of aluminum rolled products.

1995

-The company entered into the capital markets by an IPO, which was oversubscribed.

1997

-For the company, marketing strengthened with the help of qualified staff and experts and also the company's policy to sell through consignment agency.

1999

-Modernization and atomization occurred into the plant.

2000

-The company entered into the international market through the export.

2002

-The company started producing the thinner foil for tagger and pharma grade and with this expands its product range.

2005

-The Company shipped its maiden consignment of 20.00 Ton Rolled Alluminium Sheets (Machined) valued aggregating to approx. 55,000 US $ (Rs 2.50 million).

2006

-The Company had installed an electric wind power generator No. NEG MICON type NM 54/950 comprising WEC Micro Processor Control Unit with capacity to generate 0.95 of MW wind power at Surajbari Site, Kutch District, Gujarat.

2008

-The board of directors of the company had decided to re-issue 32,63,140 forfeited shares of the company at Rs 35 per share to Shri. Abhay Lodha, Shri. Ashwin Lodha and their associates.

- An adjustment of Rs. 300 was received as interest which was credited to allotment money.

2009

-Gujarat Foils Limited has entered in Retail and FMCG Sector and has launched India's first embossed Aluminum Consumer House Foil to be used for food packing under the brand name NUTRIWRAP and also kitchen containers like Casserole, Oven Cups under the brand name NUTRIPACK.

2010

-Expansion project of the Company in value added aluminium foil converted products.

2011

-The Company appointed of Shri Abhay Lodha as Managing Director of the Company.

2012

-The Company's Chhatral factory recieved the prestigious and coveted DMF TYPE III Certification from the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Department of Health and Human Services, Beltsville, USA.

-GFL commissioned its State of Art Conversion Plant at its existing rolling facility at GIDC, Chhatral, and Kalol in Gandhinagar district of Gujarat.

2014
-The Company has issued and allotted 2,50,00,000, 10% Non-Convertible Non-Cumulative Redeemable Preference shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 10/- per share.

2016
-Gujarat Foils Limited (GFL) is now affiliated to GLAFRI - Global Aluminium Foil Roller Initiative
