1 Corporate information

“Grandeur Products Limited (‘the company’) is in the business of Seed Research & Marketing of Seeds and related products . The Company was incorporated on 3rd January, 1983 in Kolkata and listed on BSE dated 21st July, 2015. The principal accounting policies applied in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all the years presented, unless otherwise stated.

The Standalone financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2018 were approved by the Board of Directors and authorised for issue on 30th May, 2018.

“Security:

Note : The 6%, 5,00,000 Secured Redeemable Unlisted Non-Convertible Debentures are secured by the Movable and Current assets of the of the Company and of the Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Company.”

* The previous GAAP figures have been reclassified to confirm to Ind AS presentation requirements for the purpose of this note.

1. Basis of preparation of financial Statements:

The Financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention on accrual basis. The mandatory applicable accounting standards in India and the provisions of the companies Act, 2013 have been followed in preparation of these financial statements.

All assets and liabilities have been classified as current or non-current as per the operating cycle criteria set out in the Revised Schedule III to the Companies Act, 2013.
