Cravatex Ltd. is engaged in the Mnufacture of Cotton Knitted Hosiery Garments and Office Automation Equipemnt. Company is also engaged in the processing of Textiles and Embroideries. Its registered office is at Bombay.

Cravatex was incorporated in 1951 by Ram Kumar Batra and is part of The Batra Group.

The company was taken public on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1979 and continues to be listed after more than four decade


2003

- Mr Kuldeep R Sharma has been appointed as Company Secretary of the Company.


2005

- Appointed Mr. Nabankur Gupta as Additional Director of the Company.


2008

- Appointed Mr. Rajiv Wallia as Wholetime Director designated as Executive Director.


2011

- Company has successfully concluded negotiation to extend the Sub License Agreement for the use of "FILA" trademark for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

- The Company has acquired 100% of 1000 equity shares of £ 1 each of M/s. BB (UK) Ltd., U.K. for a total consideration of £ 1093.

- Mr. Rajiv Batra as an Additional Director of the Company.

- The Company has successfully concluded negotiation to extend the Exclusive Distribution Agreement for products of Johnson Health Tech. Co. Ltd (Taiwan) for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

-Cravatex has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 1:1

2012

- The Company has successfully concluded negotiations with the brand owner and has reached a mutual agreement to extend the Sub-license Agreement for the use of "FILA" trademark for India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

2013

-Cravatex Ltd has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.50 per equity share (35%).

2014

-Cravatex Ltd has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.50 per equity share (35%).
-Cravatex Ltd has informed that Ms. Pheroza Jimmy Bilimoria has been appointed as an Additional Director of the Company w.e.f. September 16, 2014

- The Company sells 100% in Cravatex Brands
