YEAR EVENTS
1980 - The Company was incorporated as Central Orissa Strawboard Pvt.
Ltd. on 30th of December. The company was converted into public
limited company on 19th May 1993. The Company manufacture paper
and paper products. The company's facility to manufacture
Strawboards with an installed capacity of 3,300 tpa. It was
promoted by R.K. Giela, H.S. Gilra, G.S. Gill and M.K. Gilra.

1985 - The Company switched over to manufacture KG Craft Grey Board,
File Board and Duplex Board in the grammage range of 180 to 600
GSM.

1996 - 6,08,100 No. of equity shares issued, subscribed and paid-up.
29,85,700 No. of equity shares were issued at a premium of Rs 4
per share through a prospectus during December 1994 of which
9,85,700 shares allotted to promoters/directors etc. Of the
remaining, the following shares were reserved for allotment on a
firm basis: (i) 4,00,000 shares to Indian Mutual Funds, (ii)
4,80,000 shares to NRIs on repatriation basis. Another 28,400
shares were issued on preferential basis to employees. Balance
10,91,600 shares issued to the public.

1997 - The Company undertook to set up a project for manufacture of 6600
tpa of lower grammage kraft paper.

- The Company entered into an agreement with Ruby Macons Ltd., of
Vapi, Gujarat for supply on a turn key basis the main paper
manufacturing plant and pulp mill. It was also proposed to
instal a high velocity load to increase the existing capacity by
20%.

2010

-The Company has procured 100 Tons / per month Order for News Print Paper Supply from The Khabara. the leading newspaper publisher from Orissa.

-The Company has procured 200 Tons/ per month Order for News Print Paper Supply from The Suryapbrabha, a premium Oriya daily published from Orissa.

2011

-The Company created web site and its web site as www.cosboard.com.
