The company was incorporated as a private limited company under the companies act , 1956 on Sept. 13,1985 under the name of UMRED AGRO COMPLEX PRIVATE LIMITED . The company was converted into a public limited company vide special resolution dated 26th May 1988 and a certificate of change of name dated June 8,1988 was obtained from Registrar of companies, Bombay. The unit is situtated at village Kolari
Tah. Chimur, Dist. Chandrapur, Maharashtra under the category "D" of state Notified Backward Area as well as a centrally notified backward area.

Company manufactures and markets refined soyabean oil "Amrutdhara" and refined Kardi (Safflower) oil "Yash" through well established network of over 50 dealers in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The promoter group comprises of Dr. Amrut keshav lambat, Uday shankar kamat, Arvind Waman Bakde and Sunil vasant pedgaonkar.

2016

-Company name has changed to CIAN Agro Industries & Infrastructure Ltd. from Umred Agro Complex Ltd.

2018

-Company has completed acquisition of 20,24,850 fully paid equity shares ie 100.00% of the total paid up share capital of Purti Agrotech Limited.

2020

-NCLT sanctioned the Scheme of Merger of Jairam Infraventure Private Limited, Purti Agrotech Limited and Jupiter Metal Products Private Limited with CIAN Agro Industries and Infrastructure Limited and their respective shareholders.
