Chordia Food Products Ltd. వార్షిక వృద్ధి వివరాలు ఆధారంగా కంపెనీ చరిత్ర

The Company was promoted by the Chordia Group in 1982. It was intially incorporated as a Private Limited Company, but subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company in 1986. Mr. Hukmichand Chordia, the founder of the Group, has been associated with the manufacture of mixed pickles and spices since 1962. The products have been marketed under the brand name of 'Pravin'.

The Company is currently in the business of manufacture of food products namely pickles and grounded spices, marketed under the brand name of 'Pravin'.

The Company markets its farsan under the brand name 'Maharani'.

The management of the Company is vested in the Board of Directors. Mr. Rajkumar H Chordia and Mr. Pradeep H Chordia, Managing Director and Technical Director, respectively, are actively involved in the day-to-day management of the Company and have been associated with this business since its inception and are totally committed to its growth. Mr. Rajkumar Chordia is a B.Com with 20 years experience in the Food Industry. In addition to this, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Chairman of Laxmi Cooperative Banks Ltd, and Managing Trustee of the Pune Hospital and Research Centre.

In 1992 & 1993, the company has been honoured first prize for the Best Mango Pickle in "All India Mango Festival". The company has bagged a National Award for the quality products of Fruits & Vegetables for the year 1993.

-The company has recommended a Dividend of 15%

2008

-Chordia Food get approval for Establishment of Mega Food Park at Shirwal in
Maharashtra

2014
-Company will be sold to a separate entity, and that separate entity will concentrate on improving Brand Image and widening of Market both Indigenous as well as Export market.
