E-WHA Foam India Limited (EFIL) was incorprated as a Public Limited Company on 6th November, 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956 in Maharashtra. Certificate for Commencement of Business was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra on 15th December, 1992. The company was promoted by Shri Navinchandra Chunilal Shah, Shri Ajay Bhupatrai Shah and Shri Jayant Shah. So far, the company has not carried on any significant business activity. The Company now proposes to set up a unit at Sancoale Industrial Estate of Goa, Daman & Diu Industrial Development Corporation, Goa to produce 1500 tonnes polyethylene foam products. Polyethylene foam is characterised by a high degree of heat resistance, resilience and buoyancy. Besides packaging applications, ainly as cushioning material, it also finds application in industry segments viz., automobile, shoe uppers, sports goods, carpet lining, air-conditioning, refrigeration etc. Polyethylene foam is environmentally safe.
