YEAR EVENTS The Company was Incorporated on August 10 1989, as private limited company and was converted into public limited company on May 22, 1991.
The Company was promoted by Shri H.S. Damania (NRI) to set up a project for manufacture of 5000 KL per annum of Beer and 600 tonnes per annum of Barley Malt.The Company's object is to manufacture and sell Beer and Barley Malt.
1994 - 34,40,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par allotted to promoters, Directors and their friends and relatives. 24,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par allotted to NRIs on non-repatriation basis. 87,60,000 No. of equity shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par allotted to the Indian public through public issue.
1995 - The Company has started manufacture of beer under its own brand name "BLOSSOM LAGER" and "BLOSSOM DIET".
2000 - The acquirer, Mr. Ashok Khemani, informed that 8,48,200 equity shares of Blossom Industries Ltd. on negotiated deal basis at Rs 3 per share on May 30 have been acquired.
- Millennium Alcobev Ltd. a UB group company has tied up with Daman-based Blossom Industries Ltd., a brewery which produces nine lakh cases per year.
2003
-Mr Amit A. Khemani has been appointed as Managing Director of the company.
