Automobile Products of India Ltd. వార్షిక వృద్ధి వివరాలు ఆధారంగా కంపెనీ చరిత్ర

The Company was incorporated as a public limited company on 12th September 1949. Hind Auto Industries Ltd manufacturing automobile components was amalgamated with the company w e f 1-4-1968. The main object of the company is to manufacture Lamby, MAC 175 Scooters and Three Wheelers API Clutch Assemblies & Bralee System and Brake Flud, Brake Linings Tie Rod ends being pin & Drag Links. The factory is at Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Bombay Industrial Licence has been received for increasing the Licenced capacity for the manufacture of three wheelers to 60,000 units per annum.

The company became a Sick Industrial unit and as per the directive of the BIRF. The company has submitted the rehabilitation scheme to IDBI/SBI and the scheme is at an advanced stage of approval.
