The Company was incorporated as a private limited company under the name Farry Leasing & Hire Purchase Private Limited on 7th December, 1990, with the primary purpose of tapping a
huge market in finance, at the disposal of the promoters. An informal survey prior to incorporation had revealed a rich potential, in the field of Hire Purchase and Lease Finance, as well as financial services. The Company was thus formed and operations started in December, 1990 itself,
with the initial funds put in by the promoters. Over the years, the vision of the promoters has proved correct, as the market for finance and financial services has widely broadened and deepened by and by. The Company became a Public Limited Company on 23.9.94 and on 25.11.94 its name
was changed to the present name Farry Industries Limited.
