రిలయన్స్ కంపెనీకి సెబీ షాకిచ్చింది. ముఖేశ్ అంబానీకి చెందిన రిలయన్స్ గ్రూప్లో భాగమైన రిలయన్స్ స్టార్టెజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్ లో 2017లో లాంగ్ డేటెడ్ నిఫ్టీ ఆప్షన్లలో జరిగిన ట్రేడ్లలో అవకతవకలు జరిగినట్లు సెక్యూరిటీస్ అండ్ ఎక్స్ఛేంజ్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (Sebi) గుర్తించింది. రిలయన్స్ స్టార్టెజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్ కు రూ.7 లక్షల జరిమానా విధించింది.
"రిలయన్స్ స్ట్రాటజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్ కనీసం రెండు ట్రేడింగ్ రోజులలో ఆగస్ట్ 08, 10 ఆగస్ట్ 2017లో 11400 PE ధర ప్రీమియం తారుమారులో నిమగ్నమైంది. ఇది సెబీ చట్టంలోని సెక్షన్ 12A(c)ని రిలయన్స్ స్ట్రాటజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్ ఉల్లంఘించింది" అని SEBI న్యాయనిర్ణేత అధికారి (AO) సోమా మజుందార్ తెలిపారు.
రిలయన్స్ స్ట్రాటజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్, మోర్గాన్ స్టాన్లీ (ఫ్రాన్స్) SA (MSF) మధ్య దీర్ఘకాలిక నిఫ్టీ ఆప్షన్లలో జరిగిన ట్రేడ్లలో నిబంధనలు ఉల్లంఘించారని SEBI విచారణలో తేలింది. కనీసం రెండు రోజులలో గణనీయమైన తగ్గింపుతో 11400 PEలో ట్రేడ్లలోకి ప్రవేశించిందని SEBI AO గమనించిందని రిలయన్స్ స్ట్రాటజిక్ ఇన్వెస్ట్మెంట్స్ పేర్కొంది.
